Brookvale Care Home offers first class personal care and accommodation for elderly people with mental illness and dementia.

All accommodation is in single rooms, which have been imaginatively decorated to give a real home from home feel.

The extensive gardens provide residents with the opportunity to enjoy the fresh air and the beauty of various flowers whilst sitting in the Gazebo. Other attractions include an aviary, water features and some domestic pets.

Inside the Home there are lounges and dining rooms where residents can relax and watch television or join in a range of other activities, including a Snoezelan sensory room.

The Home provides a menu full of choice and variety with an emphasis on 'home cooked foods', also catering for those on special diets.

We offer a comprehensive range of in-house activities, complimented by regular trips and outings accessing community facilities.

To help ensure that we offer a quality care service the Home operates a quality assurance system designed to maintain and improve standards of care.

Regular meetings are held in the Home with residents and relatives to help ensure the continuous improvement of the service offered. If services fall short of expectation a comprehensive complaints procedure is available to ensure that improvements are made.

Brookvale Care Home is currently undergoing a redevelopment programme to upgrade facilities for the 60 elderly residents and improve even further its standards of excellence in care.
